Day 1

Arrival Cairo

Arrival Cairo International Airport our High Tours representative will meet you and transfer to hotel in Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2

Pyramids of Giza Tour

After breakfast at hotel, start a fantastic day tour of sightseeing by a private vehicle and Egyptologist. Visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. In front of the three lies the 22 metre high and 50 metre long Great Sphinx. After that, back to hotel and overnight in Cairo. 

Day 3

Over day Alexandria

In the morning, you will be picked up in an air-conditioned vehicle from your hotel in Cairo. Accompanied by a guide, you will be taken to the city of Alexandria; about 3 hours drive from Cairo. Alexandria has the largest port and is the second city of Egypt. It is internationally known as the ‘Bride of the Mediterranean’. Your first stops in Alexandria will the Pompey’s Pillar. It is a 28 meters high pillar and dates from the third century. The pillar was raised in honor of Emperor Diocletian, who saved the city of Alexandria from famine. Continue to the Catacomb of Kom Al Shukafa which is the largest Roman cemetery and consists of three levels cut in the rock to a depth of 100 feet, dating back to the turn of the second century. It is a blend of Pharaonic and Roman art. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant (exclude price). After lunch, proceed to the National Museum of Alexandria. It houses a range of artifacts represented in statues, marble pillars and a collection of coins dating from the Greco Roman era, in addition to a collection of Christian artifacts. After panning through a range of antiques in the museum, you will be dropped back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 4

Egyptian Museum & Khan Al Khalili Bazzars

After breakfast at hotel, start a day tour to Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. The museum holds some of the finest treasures of human history, and is filled far beyond the capacity of the 100 year old building. There are as much as 136,000 items exhibited. 40,000 more lie in the basement, many are sinking into the soft ground. A great number of the items are tiny, coins or amulets, but prepare yourself for the awe of facing great statues and treasures. Visit Khan Al Khalili Bazzars that date back to 1382. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and more! Everything for sale in these shops is negotiable - be prepared to bargain for goods in this exciting maze of shops! Then transfer to Train Station and overnight on board of train heading to Luxor.

Day 5

Luxor

Pick up from Luxor Station and transfer to cruise. Embarkation before lunch. After Lunch visit the temple of Karnak and the temple of Luxor. Back to cruise for overnight in Luxor. 

Day 6

Luxor - Esna - Edfu.

Pick up from the cruise and Cross to the West Bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Back to cruise and sail to Esna. Cross the lock. Back to cruise and sail to Edfu and overnight.

Day 7

Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan

After breakfast visit the temple of Horus in Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo. Then visit the temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sail to Aswan and overnight. 

Day 8

Aswan

Pick up from the cruise and visit of the High Dam and the temple of Philae. View of the Elephantine Island by felucca (sailing boat) and view of the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. 

Day 9

Abu Simbel

Disembarkation in the early morning. Pick up from cruise and transfer to visit Abu Simbel temples. You will enjoy a visit of The Sun Temple of Ramesses II and Nefertari's Temple of Hathor. Transfer back to Aswan and boarding on seating train to Cairo.

Day 10

Islamic & Coptic Cairo Tour

High Tours representative will pick up from Cairo station and enjoy Half Day trip in Islamic & Coptic Cairo. Your guide will begin your guided tour in Islamic Cairo - we start at the Citadel fortress with a visit to the Mohammed Ali Mosque (the alabaster mosque). The Citadel that was built by Salah-El-Din in the 12th Century and was the seat of power for the following 700 years. On the premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, one of the landmarks of Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. The Mohammed Ali mosque was built in Turkish style, very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey. Our next stop is in Coptic Cairo home of some of the oldest Christian churches in the world and retrace the steps where Mary and Joseph walked thousands of years ago. We will visit the Hanging Church, also known as El Muallaqa that was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and it was believed to have been built at the end of the 3rd century. Built on the outer wall you will see the Greek Church of St. George. Following is a visit to the Church of St. Sergius, a perfect example of Coptic churches and monasteries. It was founded at the end of the 4th century and it stands on a crypt that is said to have sheltered the holy family during their flight from Egypt. After that you will be dropped back to hotel in Cairo.

Day 11

Departure from Cairo to Amman

Then transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure to Jordon. Arrive Amman Air Port, meet and assist, transfer to hotel in Amman for overnight. 

Day 12

Amman

Morning city tour of Amman, visit the citadel, the archaeological Museum, roman amphitheater, the folklore museum, continue Tour to Jerash the “Pompeii”of the Middle East and the most beautiful preserved Greco-roman city in existence, return in the evening to Amman for Overnight.

Day 13

Desert Castles

Drive east into the desert to visit the Desert Castles, continue to the Dead Sea the lowest spot on earth for bathing in its Unsinkable waters, return to Amman for overnight. 

Day 14

Madaba

Full day tour to Madaba, Mt. Nebo, where Moses saw the promised land, the Byzantine church with its unique mosaics, continue to Kerak, visit the crusaders castle, continue to Petra for overnight.

Day 15

Petra

Full day exploring Petra through The winding gorge to a magnificent city carved out of rose - red rock 2000 years ago by the Nabataean Arabs, continue to Aqaba, Jordan’s red sea resort, where you can rest, relax, and overnight. 

Day 16

Wadi Rum Desert

Morning time at leisure, afternoon set out for an excursion to Wadi rum desert and explore with a 4x4 W/D jeeps the largest and most magnificent of Jordan’s landscape, return to Amman for overnight.

Day 17

Final Departure from Amman

Transfer to Amman airport for final departure.
