The new Nubian Museum was opened in 1997 and the beautiful lines of its architecture alone is worth seeing. Nestled into the hillside, it covers 50,000 square metres of landscaped gardens and buildings which are divided up into different sections.

Take a trip to Aswan and marvel at the ancient Egyptian architecture of the Kom Ombo temple. Appreciate the views from the boat as you approach the Kom Ombo temple, perched on a high dune overlooking the Nile.

The Philae Temple, dedicated to goddess Isis, is one of the most prominent Egyptian temples in Aswan with a very interesting history. 

Aswan, though located on the east bank of river Nile, is one of the driest places in the world. Yet it has a beautiful green garden where you can appreciate the beauty of a variety of plants and trees.

Perhaps after the great pyramids of Giza, the Abu Simbel temples are the most familiar image of ancient Egypt.
